TTT Art Game

Over and over again, two art works are displayed side by side. Two players take turns to play the role of art critic and art collector. The art critic decides which of the two art works he/she likes better. The art collector will guess the critic's choice and score a point if he guessed correctly. go game!

• You need to first login into the system. No registration is needed (this may change in the future).
• Each player should simply pick a name that he/she thinks is unique. Enter both your name and your friend's name and click 'Login'. If the name is being used by someone else at that time, you will be warned and you have to pick a different one.
• Names only have to be unique among the players that are trying to login at that moment. Once you are in, the name is freed.
• If your friend is not online at the time you are trying to connect, you will be timed out (after about 2min) and a warning is then displayed. You will have to retry again. Also you should check whether you and your friends mistyped each other's names.
• If you leave the friend's name empty, you will be assigned another player randomly (if he also leave his friend's name empty) if there is one indeed.

Once you login, the game begins:

• a digital clock is shown at the top left corner. As a general rule, if the clock is ticking, that means the system is waiting for your friends to do something. If the clock is stopped, it is time for you to do something.
• Both players will simply click the image of the art work he/she wants to select.
• You can switch roles (from Art Critic to Art Collector, for example) at any time by clicking the switch role button
• Score will be displayed at the top left corner. The format is a/b (c), where a is the total number of times the Collector guessed right and b is the total number of guesses. if the last match, the Collector wins, c will be +, otherwise c will be -. c will be empty if one or both players selected skip.
• A magnifier is provided. You can drag the magnifier over the image to see a higher mag of the part of the image. You can also change the size of the magnifier or turn it off completely.
• zoom will zoom the image. Click the zoomed image unzoom it.
• the link will bring you to the webpage that hosted the image
• We dont host any of the contents for various reasons(efficiency, management, copyright). If an image does not show up, we would greatly appreciate if you could click the error to report to us. In such cases, you can skip the current turn.
• After a certain period of inactivity (about 15min), you will be logout of the system. You (and your friend) will have to relogin to play
